Jianxin Jaren Secures USD 20 Million Investment
Global chemical and circular materials giant Indorama Ventures recently completed a strategic capital increase of USD 20 million in Zhejiang Jianxin Jaren New Materials Co., Ltd., marking a new phase in the partnership between the two industry leaders as they jointly shape a new global landscape for the textile circular economy.
This capital increase follows the establishment of a joint venture between the two parties in November 2025 and represents another significant strategic move, demonstrating strong confidence in the chemical recycling technology pathway and its potential for scaling.
The funds will be primarily invested in Jianxin Jaren’s annual 150,000-ton green recycled new materials project located in Shaoxing Keqiao, further accelerating the second-phase construction and technological upgrades, and promoting the complete development of the world’s largest textile chemical recycling capacity system.
This collaboration will further strengthen the localization of circular supply chains in the Asia-Pacific region. Once fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual carbon reduction of 240,000 tons, save 280,000 tons of standard coal, and conserve 6.3 million tons of water, contributing significantly to global climate goals and resource circulation strategies.
