Jiangsu Haike Fiber to Establish Provincial Engineering Center for Recycled Differentiated Polyester Staple Fiber
Huaian, Jiangsu – Jiangsu Haike Fiber Co., Ltd. has received official approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission to establish the "Jiangsu Provincial Industrial Technology Engineering Center for Recycled Differentiated Polyester Staple Fiber." This approval marks significant provincial recognition of the company's innovation and leadership in recycled fiber materials.
The center represents a key strategic move in China's circular economy for textiles. Polyester staple fiber, sourced from materials like post-consumer PET bottles, is widely used across various industries. By focusing on "recycled" and "differentiated" fibers, the center aims to enhance the quality of recycled materials and develop specialized fibers with superior properties for high-value applications. This addresses the growing global demand from brands for sustainable, high-performance materials and supports China's "Dual Carbon" goals.
Jiangsu Haike Fiber was among the two enterprises selected in Jinhu County and part of the eight total entities approved in Huaian City. The "Jiangsu Provincial Industrial Technology Engineering Center" is a crucial innovation platform designed to bridge the gap between laboratory research and large-scale industrial production, focusing on core technology development and commercialization.
The center is expected to strengthen regional industrial collaboration and position Jiangsu at the forefront of the green textile transition, contributing to a more resource-efficient and sustainable industrial future.
