Progress on 40,000-Ton Food-Grade rPET Project Proceeds Smoothly
Located in Xinjin District, Chengdu, the Green Renewable Resources Smart Industrial Park Project (Phase I) completed its main structural construction in the middle of this year. The project has a total investment exceeding 340 million RMB (including the second stage) and a planned construction area of approximately 37,000 square meters, adopting a phased construction approach.
The core of the project is the production of recycled food-grade polyester bottle-grade chips. Upon full capacity operation of Phase I, it is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of approximately 40,000 tons. Plant One is designed to include one waste PET bottle cleaning production line, two pelletizing production lines, and one solid-state polycondensation production line. Plant Two is planned for leasing to expand industrial synergies.
Additionally, the project is equipped with a "photovoltaic + energy storage" smart energy system, aiming to create an integrated demonstration of resource recycling and clean energy utilization. This project is one of Chengdu's key initiatives to promote resource recycling and develop a green, low-carbon industry.
