Recycled Polyester Project in Jinzhai Makes Headway with Total Annual Capacity of 650,000 Tons
The construction of the recycled polyester high-performance modified materials industrial chain project, located in the Jinzhai Economic Development Zone of Anhui Province, is progressing smoothly. Recently, several factory buildings have been topped out, while the main structures of the remaining buildings are under active construction. The project is expected to achieve full roof closure by early 2026.
With a total investment of 520 million yuan, the project covers an area of approximately 393 mu (about 26.2 hectares). It plans to construct 32 high-standard production workshops, with a total floor area reaching 210,000 square meters. Centered on recycled polyester, the industrial park focuses on sectors such as high-performance modified materials, injection-molded products, new energy vehicle components, and mechanical processing. It aims to build a comprehensive circular economy industrial chain for polyester materials, covering recycling, regeneration, modification, and finished products.
In terms of production capacity, the project plans to install 10 sets of automated PET production lines, 80 sets of recycled chip production lines, 100 high-performance modified material production lines, and 500 injection molding machines. Upon full operation, it is projected to achieve an annual output of 200,000 tons of PET bottle flakes, 150,000 tons of recycled chips, 250,000 tons of high-performance modified materials, and 50,000 tons of injection-molded products. The project is expected to generate an annual output value of approximately 5 billion yuan and contribute around 200 million yuan in annual taxes.
