On November 11, 2025, Indorama Ventures, a leading global supplier of recycled polyester fibers, yarns, and technical textiles, officially established a joint venture with Jiaren, a leader in chemical polyester recycling technology. This collaboration aims to work together to accelerate the circular economy transformation of the global textile industry.

1.Strategic cooperation landing: 100000 tons of production capacity helps industry transformation
Based on the joint venture, both parties plan to release up to 100000 tons of regenerated PET spinning capacity from textile waste annually. This move will enhance the resilience and transparency of the global textile supply chain, and optimize the core value created by both parties for the industry.

The global production network of Indorama Group in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Americas regions, as well as its mature ability to build efficient regional supply chains, can help brand owners establish localized procurement centers in the required areas. Jiaren has the full process processing capability of textile waste procurement, sorting, decolorization, depolymerization, and re aggregation. Its chemical textile recycling technology has been implemented on a large scale. The regenerated fibers and yarns produced by this technology can help brands achieve climate goals, reduce the accumulation of waste textiles, and fully preserve the original properties of materials.
2. Jiaren: a technological leader in chemical recycling
Jiaren is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Construction Information Group, relying on the group's deep cultivation and accumulation in the green industry, focusing on the textile recycling track for 12 years. At the start-up stage, the company established a technical cooperation with Teijin, laying the foundation for chemical recycling technology. Today, it has grown into a leading enterprise in the global chemical recycled polyester industry.
Its core technology is based on ethylene glycol depolymerization and methanol ester exchange. Through patented processes such as multi-stage centrifugation and distillation, it can reduce waste polyester textiles into DMT monomers with a purity of 99.99%, and then condense them into recycled PET, achieving a closed-loop cycle from old clothes to new materials. The product performance is comparable to that of native polyester resin and is widely used in textile, packaging, engineering plastics and other fields.
At present, Jiaren has embarked on a new journey of capacity upgrading: on the basis of the original 30000 tons/year recycled polyester production capacity, a second production base has been added, which will release 150000 tons/year of recycled polyester production capacity after full operation. This upgrade will achieve the recycling of over 240000 tons of waste textiles annually, significantly reducing the consumption of primary petrochemical resources and injecting strong impetus into the sustainable transformation of the global textile industry.
