The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announces the ninth batch of standardized waste plastic enterprises: 14 new, 3 revoked, and 2 changed

On November 3rd, the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of enterprises that meet the industry standards for the comprehensive utilization of waste steel, waste copper and aluminum, waste paper, waste plastics, waste tires, and the remanufacturing of mechanical and electrical products in 2025. Among them, in the waste plastic industry, according to the requirements of the "Standard Conditions for Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Plastics Industry" and relevant announcement management measures, 14 new standardized enterprises were announced in the ninth batch, as well as 1 enterprise that changed the announcement name, 1 enterprise that changed the announcement processing capacity, and 3 enterprises that revoked the announcement.
As of November 2025, 140 enterprises that meet the comprehensive utilization standards for waste plastics have been announced in 9 batches.

According to the Industry Standard Conditions for Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Plastics and relevant announcement management measures, one enterprise changed its announcement name, one enterprise changed its announcement processing capacity, and three enterprises withdrew their announcements.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Industry Standard Conditions for Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Plastics" in December 2015, which clarifies the requirements for industry standard management from the aspects of enterprise establishment and layout, production and operation scale, resource comprehensive utilization and energy consumption, process and equipment, and guides the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
As of November 2025, 140 enterprises that meet the standards for comprehensive utilization of waste plastics have been announced in 9 batches. Chinese waste plastic comprehensive utilization enterprises are mainly concentrated in Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hebei, Zhejiang and other places. The comprehensive utilization industry of waste plastics in China has formed industrial clusters in Quanzhou, Fujian, Baoding, Hebei, Jieshou, Anhui, Miluo, Hunan, Guiyu, Guangdong, Shiyan, Hubei, Xuchang, Henan and other places. The map shows that the production capacity distribution of waste plastic comprehensive utilization enterprises is basically consistent with the famous Hu Huanyong Line in China.
